Well, a mixed bag of information today. If you are a glass half
empty kind of person, John got the official second opinion diagnosis of
pancreatic cancer. If you are a glass half full kind of person, it
appears that this is a less aggressive strand of the adenocarcinoma.
That means, it may be more receptive to chemotherapy. I prefer to look
on the positive side. John's comment was, "Let's get this party
started, and kick the
!@#$ out
of this."
The next step is another appointment with the University of Chicago on Tuesday
the 23 to sign the consent forms for the clinical trail and get another CT
scan to see where we are currently at now a month after the original scan.
We will also get the schedule for the chemotherapy.
